Joint Venture with Mulpha Group to bring hub OS to APAC

hub OS + Mulpha Group Joint venture

Mulpha Group is one of Australia’s largest Hotel investors and hospitality operators and it’s our new partner!

With the expansion to Australia and New Zealand, we embarked on a joint venture with Mulpha, in order to provide a closer and excellent service to hoteliers looking to upgrade their tech stack and especially their operations and guest experience.

Mulpha Australia

Mulpha Group has over 30 years of experience and is one of Australia’s largest Hotel investors and hospitality operators. Specialised in operational management and development capability, it brings the knowledge needed to offer to these markets an innovative vision to succeed in the new industry’s challenges.

Mulpha Group CEO Greg Shaw says:

“From our research, we know there is no other product globally like hub that can power hotel operations as a single, integrated software solution. This presents a unique opportunity for Hotel owners and operators to achieve transformative operational efficiencies and cost savings. We have already seen this occur in our three flagship InterContinental Hotels in Sydney, Hayman Island and Sanctuary Cove.”

InterContinental Hayman Island Resort

Since the implementation of hub OS, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort has recorded material savings in housekeeping and Front of House departments with faster response times and improved guest satisfaction scores.

Across hub’s broader portfolio of 600 hotels, clients have seen a 10% reduction in room cleaning times and a 50-60% increase in room inspections.

From a maintenance perspective clients’, on average have seen a 12-minute resolution time in corrective maintenance & fault resolution

Mulpha’s Head of IT, Annelle Paemaa sees great potential in the platform:

“We have proven that hub can replace up to four existing operating systems saving costs, training and implementation time. hub OS is a cloud-based solution, highly scalable and totally intuitive for both the IT team and the entire Hotel operating team.

Therefore, we are looking forward to increasing the footprint of this product in Australia and expanding into the Asia Pacific region to bring the platform’s benefits to the industry at an ideal time to assist Owners and Operators improve both bottom-line results and guest satisfaction in an increasingly competitive market.”

In addition to the reduction of software products, the API (application programming interface) allows for the replacement of pen and paper check-in at breakfast with an electronic option. This ensures hoteliers are capturing revenue in real-time and enables housekeeping staff to use this time to service rooms, allowing for guests to return to a cleaned room.

Mulpha is continuing to actively roll out hub OS across Australia and the Asia Pacific region, with strong interest from numerous hotel chains and hotel owners and investors.

At hub OS, we are very happy to be closer to our clients and support the APAC region.

Our CEO, Alex Ridaura happily said:

We are very excited to start this joint venture with one of Australia’s leading hotel investors. This venture will allow us to provide close support to our clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, whilst expanding our presence in these key markets. And the added value thanks to Mulpha’s knowledge and experience will be crucial to our success.
